Dad and Shirley's 45th Wedding Anniversary

A photo album of my visit to Wisconsin, August 10th-13th, 2001, to attend the 45th wedding anniversary of my father, Justice Louis J. Ceci (Ret.) and Shirley Haldi Ceci.

Saturday morning, on my brother Joe's front porch, enjoying cruerlers (sp?), and coming up with photographic proof that I am, by far, the cutest.
Saturday afternoon, I visited with my cousin Tony, who showed me several pictures of our family, including this portrait of my grandma Ceci. I also met her husband, Bill, who enjoys woodworking and cabinet-making.
On our way back to Joe's, Tony and I stopped at the house I grew up in back in the 1950's. The people living there were very kind and allowed me to look around in the back yard and take pictures out front.
(The photo on the lower right was taken by them when they had just moved in.)
After returning from Tony's, all five nephews and seven adults (their parents and me) went out for pizza. On the way, I got the boys to sit still, briefly, for a picture: Anthony (Tony) [Joe and Pam's youngest], Thomas [David and Marily's youngest], Douglas [David and Marilyn's oldest], Theo [Joe and Pam's oldest], and Nicholas [Geri and Peter's only].
At the pizzeria: my sister Geri; Theo, my brother Joe, and Douglas (displaying his pet caterpiller, above his watch on his wrist); Nicholas and Thomas; my sister-in-law Pam and Tony (who wanted to be sure I got a picture of the bubble on the end of his root beer straw).
Sunday, before the anniversary party, we decided to go to the State Fair, where we saw visited the livestock barns and discoverd that Wisconsin produced some excellent...
...beefsteak.
Nicholas, Theo, and Geri rode the waterslide...
...while Tony, Joe (nice shot, huh?), and Pam rode the rollercoster.
We met up with my sister Kris and her husband, Mike, and daughter, Rose, before the anniversary party and posed for a family portrait (of sorts--these photos don't do justice to the chaos that reigned once we got inside the studio.) The delay in fitting us all in seemed to make Dad a bit exasperated; Peter seemed to remain calm.
And then the party really began...
