There are a lot of large photos on this page, folks, so be patient while they load.
I arrived at Fox Glacier just before sunset, but easily found good accomodations (a feat that would be difficult later in the season, I am told).
The first photo is of the Franz Josef Glacier, which I had visited earlier in the day. The last photo was actually shot several days later, when I was flying back to Aukland for my return home. We happened to pass over the Fox during a rare break in the cloud cover.
